Additional Testing Information:

ATI – TEAS testing

ATI -TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills)

To sit for the TEAS exam, test candidates must have already created a student account with atitesting.com. Test takers are responsible for knowing their ATI username and password. This is not your MCC-provided username and password. Test takers will be allowed only scratch paper and pencils provided by the testing center during the exam. The test is approximately 3.5 hours and only provides a 10-minute restroom break between the math and science sections.

Some MCC programs mandate a 30-day gap between TEAS exam attempts. You are responsible for tracking your test timelines to meet program requirements.

How do I pay for a testing session?

Test takers can pay online directly by completing the BUR-Non A/R payment form. Please note that inside the form is the link to the payment system. Once the payment is completed you will receive a confirmation number, you go back to fill in the BUR-Non A/R payment form. The form and payment process is not complete until the submit button has been entered and the form is processed by the Bursar office. The testing center will gladly help you with this process, but you can also complete it ahead of arriving at the testing center location.

What are the rules for the testing center?

Testing Center Rules

How do I arrange a proctor for testing for another school?

  • Contact your current school and determine their process for requesting proctoring outside of their system.
  • Complete the necessary steps with your school to have them send MCC Testing Centers (testing@mohave.edu) the necessary information to provide your proctor exam.
  • Email Testing@mohave.edu once you have started the process or if you would like to confirm we have received your exam.
  • Arrive with sufficient time to complete your exam on your planned testing day. Remember seating is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Allow adequate time for the check-in, payment, and test session set-up process.
  • Bring your allotted items outlined by your school, your photo ID, and any device that may be necessary for two-step verification to access your school’s testing system.

ASE – Prometric Testing

Currently, our Bullhead City Campus location is the only location able to provide ASE testing from Prometric. All ASE test candidates must pre-register and pay the direct fees to the testing service provider before arriving to test at our center. At present, there is no additional sitting fee for these tests. Test candidates will need to provide their ASE number or testing confirmation number to be permitted to test.

CLEP and NCCT

We highly encourage you to pre-arrange your plans for CLEP and NCCT testing before arriving at the testing center. Both testing systems take time to set up testing sessions, to prevent delays please email testing@mohave.edu with your plans to sit for one of these tests.

Sitting and Exam Fees

MCC fees for testing are approved annually by the Board of Governors. Current fees are listed in the Academic Catalog. Please note that many testing service providers do charge a fee. Most of these fees are paid directly to the testing provider (ASE, NCCT, CLEP, ESCO, etc.) and these fees do not include any sitting fees that MCC charges.

MCC Challenge Exams

MCC Challenge Exams are provided during the add/drop period of a course. Students who are enrolled in the course may discuss with their instructor their desire to sit for the challenge exam. If approved, the student will arrange with the instructor and testing center to sit for the exam and if successful on the challenge exam they are awarded the credit for the course. Tuition and fees are still paid in full and the course shows as completed on the student’s transcript. If unsuccessful, the student remains in the course and earns the credit by successfully completing the course.
