Paying for College
Paying for college is easier with help from MCC. The information and links below will help you determine which options are right for you. You can also make an appointment with your local Academic Advisor to review your options in person or over the phone.
Step 1 – Apply for Scholarships
MCC offers a variety of scholarships for new, continuing and incoming transfer students. This is free money that doesn’t have to be repaid! MCC scholarships may be awarded based on academic excellence, leadership experience, talent or demonstrated excellence in a particular program of study.
Step 2 – Apply for Federal Financial Aid
MCC participates in federal financial aid programs to assist students and their families in paying for their MCC education. The most common federal programs include grants that do not have to be repaid, and loans that must be repaid by the student after they graduate or leave school.
Step 3 – Pay your MCC Tuition
The Bursar’s Office at MCC offers several different ways for students to pay out of pocket for their educational costs, including payment plans and payment in full. The Bursar’s Office works in cooperation with the Financial Aid Office to apply federal financial aid and scholarship awards to student accounts to assist with payment of MCC costs.
