2018 graduate will receive $10,000 cash award at MCC commencement

Mohave Community College will be awarding 527 associate degrees and certificates to 449 students this year, and one student will receive $10,000 at the college commencement ceremony on May 11. Cancer Association of Havasu donates $5,500 for MCC Nursing scholarships

The Cancer Association of Havasu donated $5,000 for scholarships in honor of their Hero of the Year – Eagles Aerie 4299. The association also donated another $500 to the Rosemarie Coletta Memorial Scholarship.  Both scholarships are for Lake Havasu City residents in the second year of the MCC Nursing Program. MCC upgrades and expands Licensed Practical Nurse program, accepting applications for January 2019 start
