Mohave Community College’s focus is on the health of our students, staff, and faculty during the COVID-19 Pandemic and at this time we have made the decision to move all courses to an online format, cancel all community education classes, and postpone all events on campus.
The Registrar’s Office is continuing to process incoming transcript evaluations as well as outgoing transcript requests and other enrollment verification needs. Please note that you may experience slightly longer than usual turnaround time for processing due to our adjustments but that we will work diligently to complete your requests with minimal disruption. Please call MCC Connect at 1.866.664.2832 for any questions or needs that you may have.
Transferring Out to Another Institution
Students intending to transfer to another institution should meet with an academic advisor to learn about the resources available and to facilitate transfer of MCC credits to the university. Among these resources are transfer guides developed by each university for their majors and the Course Equivalency Guide, which is used to determine the transferability of MCC courses.
The Arizona Higher Education Course Equivalency Guide (CEG) is published by the Arizona Commission for Postsecondary Education, in conjunction with the Arizona Board of Regents. The CEG “equivalency” does not mean that the community college course is identical to the university course or vice versa, but that the course is regarded as fulfilling the requirement of the designated university or college course. The evaluations of transfer credit in the CEG refer only to community college courses and their acceptance at the respective four-year institutions in the state of Arizona. Students are encouraged to consult with the appropriate transfer institution’s academic department for major course requirements before deciding on current class schedules.
Mohave Community College can be your stepping stone to advanced college degrees and other specialized education through the transfer partnerships that MCC has established with several premiere institutions.
Ordering Official Transcripts
Please read all available options before selecting an order method. If at any time you have any questions regarding the ordering process, please contact MCC Connect at 866.664.2832.
Transcripts may be requested online, by mail, or in person. (Faxed or emailed requests cannot be accepted.) If a student has any indebtedness with the college, it must be cleared prior to the processing of a transcript request.
Students are strongly encouraged to check their unofficial transcripts before placing an order. If your request is processed prior to grades being entered or credentials being conferred, they may not be on the outgoing transcripts. If grades or credentials are needed, please select the most appropriate processing option from the drop-down box.
During peak periods and holidays, it may take up to 10 business days from the receipt of the request in the Registrar’s Office for the request to be processed. For those students needing transcripts expedited, a rush processing and rush delivery option is available.
For rush transcript requests, we utilize UPS, 2nd Day Air. For example, a transcript leaving our office on a Tuesday would be guaranteed to be delivered by the end of the day on Thursday assuming all three days were normal business days (Alaska and Hawaii are not guaranteed as some locations require additional transit time). This does not pertain to rush delivery orders sent to P.O. Box addresses. Rush delivery orders that are sent to a P.O. Box address will be sent via USPS Express. USPS Express may take up to three days for delivery. For this reason, street addresses are preferred for rush delivery orders.
Mohave Community College makes no guarantees as to the timeliness of deliveries once the transcript is picked up by UPS or the United States Postal Service. USPS delivery times may vary due to holidays and weekends, particularly during seasonal peaks. Students must plan accordingly.
