Subject to certain exceptions (known as Directory Information) set forth in the Federal Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, Mohave Community College will not provide personally identifiable student information to third parties without the student’s signed, written permission. This information includes, but is not limited to: registration, student financial records, assessments, financial aid, and other student records.
You, the student, may grant MCC permission to release authorized information to a third party by submitting this completed form. Third parties include, but are not limited to: parents, spouses, and third-party sponsors. To do so, please fill out a FERPA Form for Mohave Community College.
If you have signed a FERPA release to a person or third party in the past and now want to revoke their access to your educational records you may email the Registrar’s Office at email@example.com from your MCC student email account. In this email please include your name, MCC student ID#, and indicate which person or party you wish to revoke access to.
During peak periods and holidays, it may take up to 10 business days from the receipt of the request in the Registrar’s Office for the request to be processed.
