General Education Development preparation classes are offered at each campus to students 16 years and older who are not enrolled in high school. Students enrolling in PCS classes must attend an orientation class.
There is no charge for the orientation or classes.

The General Educational Development/High School Equivalency exam is offered at each of the MCC campuses.
In order to take the exam at MCC, students must first go to ged.com and create an account. All scheduling and payment is done online at that website.
Effective January, 2017, a civics test is part of the requirement to attain a high school equivalency diploma, in addition to passing the GED. More information regarding this requirement is available at the Arizona Department of Education website.
