NOTICE: COVID-19 Update (June 30, 2020). Due to continued COVID-19 limitations of “no face-to-face” contact, we have developed a routine for “distance” completion of required enrollment processes to get students enrolled in our online Fall PCS Classes starting in August.
Please contact Dennis LeForce at firstname.lastname@example.org or 928-692-3089. Be sure to include an email and phone number. He will contact you at his earliest opportunity, ask you a few strategic questions and work with you to complete the MCC admission process and get you enrolled in fall 2020 PCS classes.
Earn a GED Diploma!
General Education Development preparation classes are offered at each campus to students 16 years and older who are not enrolled in high school. Students enrolling in PCS classes must attend an orientation class.
There is no charge for the orientation or classes.
For more information, call your local campus. Click here for the schedule of Pre-College Studies classes.
The General Educational Development/High School Equivalency exam is offered at each of the MCC campuses.
In order to take the exam at MCC, students must first go to ged.com and create an account. All scheduling and payment is done online at that website.
Effective January, 2017, a civics test is part of the requirement to attain a high school equivalency diploma, in addition to passing the GED. More information regarding this requirement is available at the Arizona Department of Education website.
If you have questions about your test or need a transcript, please contact the Arizona State Education Department.
