Medical Assisting
Certificates
Medical Assistants are versatile health professionals who collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists in outpatient settings such as medical offices and clinics. They perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks essential for patient care. The demand for Medical Assistants is rapidly increasing. Mohave College offers a program that equips you for both front and back-office roles in ambulatory (outpatient) environments. For full-time students, the certificate can be completed in one year, and the program also prepares students for national certification.
Accreditation
The Mohave College Medical Assisting Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).
