Medical Assisting
Certificates
The demand for Medical Assistants is high and growing. MCC can prepare you for employment in both front and back-office positions in hospitals, physicians’ offices and ambulatory (outpatient) settings. For full-time students, the certificates will take one year to complete. The Medical Assistant programs prepare students for national certification.
Professional Certification Disclosure
The Medical Assisting Program at Mohave Community College has a site visit scheduled for pursuing initial accreditation by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). This step in the process is neither a status of accreditation nor a guarantee that accreditation will be granted.
