Medical Assisting

Certificates

Medical assistants are multi-skilled health professionals who work alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists in hospitals, medical offices, and clinics, performing administrative and clinical duties. The demand for Medical Assistants is high and growing. MCC can prepare you for employment in both front and back-office positions in hospitals, physician’s offices, and ambulatory (outpatient) settings. For full-time students, the certificate will take one year to complete. The Medical Assisting program prepares students for national certification.
