Local building contractors and electrical companies need you! They told the college that they need electricians ready to get their careers started on residential and commercial/industrial sites, and now you have two certificate options to help get you trained and hired.
The college Electrical program will provide you the education needed to obtain a Residential Wiring Certificate, which shows employers you are ready to start working as a residential wiring installer and electrician helper. You’ll learn the proper techniques for residential wiring applications, including the use of the NEC codebook for residential electrical installations.
We also train students in the electrical installation and maintenance of commercial or industrial settings. The Commercial/Industrial Electricity Certificate will show employers that you know safety protocols, proper wiring techniques, how to calculate loads, proper installation and maintenance of low-voltage controllers, and programmable logic controllers.
