Can I transfer my degree to a four-year university?
Yes, the Associate in Business (ABus) degree is specifically designed to transfer as a block for those wishing to pursue a bachelor’s degree at the Arizona Universities of Arizona State University, University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University.
How long does it take to complete the business programs?
There are three certificates, ranging from 16 – 19 credit hours. Certificates take at least one semester to complete, depending upon how many classes are taken each semester. There are three degrees, ranging from 63 – 67 credit hours. Degrees take at least four semesters to complete, depending upon how many classes are taken each semester.
Are these programs accredited?
MCC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Other accreditations apply to specific programs, where applicable.
How often are classes offered?
Business classes are offered every semester including summers. Classes are available during day and evening hours and online through MCC’s distance education program.
Is financial aid available?
Yes, MCC has financial aid available. Please visit our Financial Aid page for information on applying for financial aid, and available scholarships. Students who are interested should apply for aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to see if they qualify. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov for an online application.
What are the prerequisites for the business certificates and degree programs?
Appropriate score on the Compass assessment or completion of transitional English and transitional math. Individual courses have prerequisites. Check the college catalog for details.

Who determines if course work transfers to MCC?
The MCC Registrar makes all decisions regarding transfer of courses and will only evaluate official written transcripts. Visit your local MCC campus Student Services Office for more information.
