Mohave Community College is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

The Higher Commission conducted its last comprehensive review of MCC in the spring of 2023 . An Assurance Argument and federal compliance report were submitted January of that year. A review of the submission and site visit were conducted in April of 2023, in fulfillment of the 10-year reaffirmation of accreditation requirements for institutions on the Standard Pathway. MCC’s next Assurance Review will be during the 2026-27 academic year. MCC is now on the Open Pathway to the reaffirmation of accreditation which includes the identification and submissions of Quality Initiative proposal between 2027-30 and a Quality Initiative report between 2030-32.
