MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College Corporate Education is hosting two Arizona Real Estate Continuing Education training events, 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m., Aug. 5 and Aug. 26, at Mohave College Beale Street Center, Room 106, 309 E. Beale Street, Kingman.

The events provide Arizona real estate professionals with the opportunity to earn up to six hours of Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE)-approved continuing education credit while gaining practical skills they can immediately apply to their business.

The Aug. 5 training focuses on Arizona Ethics and History of Protected Classes, covering ethical decision making, professional standards, fair housing laws, and the responsibilities real estate professionals have in serving clients and protecting the public.

The Aug. 26 training features Agency Basics & Case Law and Land Use & Subdivision Regulations, providing practical instruction on agency relationships, fiduciary duties, Arizona case law, zoning, land use planning, subdivisions and other legal issues that impact real estate transactions.

Both training days are taught by Karen Bohler, an Arizona Department of Real Estate approved instructor who has been teaching real estate since 2001. An Arizona designated broker and experienced educator, Bohler combines real-world experience with practical instruction that professionals can immediately apply in their business.

“Real estate professionals play an important role in helping individuals and families make some of life’s biggest financial decisions. These courses are designed to strengthen the knowledge and professional judgment that help REALTORS® serve their clients with confidence, integrity, and a solid understanding of Arizona real estate law,” said Janice Berkenheger, Corporate Education & Career Training Program Manager. “We’re proud to provide training that supports both professional excellence and the communities our licensees serve.”

Registration is $25 for one course or $35 for both courses. Breakfast and lunch are included through the support of event sponsors, providing attendees with additional networking opportunities throughout the day.

Registration for the Aug. 5 courses closes July 31, and registration for the Aug. 26 courses closes Aug. 21. Space is limited.
