The College welcomed Dr. Chrissy Holliday on Monday, July 6, as she officially began her first day as president.
Dr. Holliday spent part of the day meeting employees, learning more about College initiatives and getting settled into her new role.
She joins the College following a national search and was selected to serve as the institution’s seventh president. She brings experience in enrollment management, student success, rural higher education, workforce development and community partnerships.
Over the next few weeks, Dr. Holliday will visit all the college campuses and learning centers, meet with students and employees, and learn more about the programs, services and people that make the College such a vital part of northwestern Arizona.
Her arrival comes at a time of growth and momentum for the College, including expanded workforce training, new four-year bachelor’s degrees, strong health care and career education programs, and continued efforts to make higher education more accessible and affordable for students throughout the region.
The College is excited to welcome Dr. Holliday and looks forward to the work ahead as she helps build on the great things happening for students, employees and communities across Mohave County.
