MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College has been recognized by AZTransfer with two awards for excellence in Articulation Task Force (ATF) meetings. AZTransfer recognized ATF meeting facilitators who increased meeting attendance and accelerated their meeting report submissions.
Andrea Wange, Director of Curriculum and Assessment, received the Institutional Improvement Award and the Continuous Improvement in Reporting Award for excelling in both areas.
“We’re honored to receive these awards and are proud to support transfer options for our students. These awards reflect the teamwork, communication, and commitment amongst faculty, staff and leadership of Mohave College that make transfer pathways stronger,” said Wange.
The Institutional Improvement Award recognizes exceptional leadership, and dedication to strengthening representation and expanding institutional participation at the 2025 ATF Meetings. Wange’s efforts helped increase Mohave College’s ATF meeting attendance by 11%, bringing the institution’s overall participation rate to 97% in 2025. This helped strengthen collaboration so students who transfer have clearer and more reliable pathways.
The Continuous Improvement in Reporting Award honors exceptional initiative, coordination, and persistence in streamlining communication and ensuring timely completion of reporting responsibilities for the 2025 ATF Meetings. Wange reduced her report turnaround time by eight days compared to 2024, consistently submitting meeting reports within 0–3 days of each meeting.
Wange was recognized at AZTransfer’s Facilitator Training Retreat in Flagstaff, where she shared her successful faculty engagement strategies with colleagues from across Arizona.
AZTransfer’s recognition highlights the importance of continuous improvement, so transfer pathways remain student-centered, efficient and responsive to student needs.
