MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College is expanding access to career and technical education by offering its Electrical Technology program at the Colorado City Campus beginning in fall 2026.

The program prepares students for careers in residential electrical work through hands-on, work-based learning and direct instruction. Students can earn a residential wiring certificate in as little as one year while gaining practical skills aligned with industry standards.

The Electrical Technology program is recognized by the state of Arizona and focuses on real-world applications, including wiring systems, electrical safety and code compliance. The expansion to Colorado City increases access for students in northern Mohave County and surrounding communities.

“We are very excited to bring electrical training to the Colorado City area,” said Jason Gee, dean of career and technical education. “We believe this program can provide immediate support to the community. With everything on track, electrical technology will be just the beginning of career and technical education opportunities on the Colorado City Campus.”
