MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave College Board of Governors will hold a Truth in Taxation, TNT, public hearing at 9 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2026, to receive public comment regarding a proposed increase in the college portion of local property taxes.
The Mohave County Community College District is proposing an increase in primary property taxes of $880,484, or 3.0%, over last year’s level. For a home valued at $100,000, the proposed increase would result in primary property taxes of $107.52, compared with $104.38 without the proposed increase.
The public hearing will be held via Interactive Television originating from Neal Campus-Kingman, 1971 Jagerson Ave., Kingman, Arizona, Room 240. Community members may also attend from the following additional campus locations: Bullhead City Campus, Room 508; Lake Havasu Campus, Room 508; and Colorado City Campus, Room 301.

An ad publicizing the TNT hearing will be published twice in local newspapers prior to the board meeting. One will be published in the Havasu News Herald between March 28-April 3 and one time between April 7-April 10.
