Mohave College Corporate Education is helping teens and families take the first step toward safe, confident driving with its upcoming driver’s education course beginning April 7 at the Lake Havasu Campus.
This 16-hour classroom training prepares students for the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) permit test while building a strong foundation in responsible driving habits. Classes will be held from 6–8 p.m. at the Mohave College Lake Havasu Campus, 1977 Acoma Blvd. West, building 200, room 203C.
Throughout the course, students will explore essential topics including Arizona traffic laws and regulations, safe driving practices and speed management, intersections and freeway driving, traffic signs and signals, emergency response and collision prevention, driver distractions and impairments, and risk perception and decision-making. The course concludes with written test preparation and practice exams to help students feel confident and prepared on test day.
The investment is $150, and registration for the Lake Havasu session closes April 4.
For families needing an alternate schedule, additional classes are available in Kingman. The Kingman course begins March 23, with registration closing March 20.
