MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College Corporate Education is offering two professional development workshop series this winter, providing local employers and hospitality professionals with practical tools to strengthen teams, improve service and support organizational success.
The Transform Your Business: Lunch and Learn HR Workshop Series is 12-1:30 p.m., Jan. 28-Feb. 4,11 at the Mohave College Lake Havasu Campus, 1977 Acoma Blvd. West. Designed for small business owners, managers, and HR professionals, the three-part series includes lunch with registration. Participants may register for individual sessions at $47 per workshop, or save with a bundled rate of $127 for all three sessions.
HR workshop topics include:
Jan. 28 – HR Shield: Learn how to protect your business from costly legal pitfalls through essential HR compliance knowledge.
Feb. 4 – Stop the Turnover Train: Discover effective strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent.
Feb. 11 – Conflict to Collaboration: Turn challenging employee dynamics into opportunities for teamwork and collaboration.
In addition, Mohave College Corporate Education will host the Hospitality Success Series is 2-3 pm, Feb. 4, 18, and March 4 at the Bullhead Campus, 3400 AZ-95. The series is designed for hospitality professionals seeking to improve customer service, increase sales and build stronger teams. The two-session Serve Smarter workshop is $50, Stronger Teams, Better Shifts is $25 or attend all three sessions for $65.
Hospitality workshop topics include Serve Smarter: Service Skills That Drive Sales, offered as a two-session training on February 4 and 18, and Stronger Teams, Better Shifts: Employee Motivation & Buy-In, which will take place on March 4.
Both workshop series are led by industry professionals and emphasize practical, real-world strategies participants can apply immediately in their workplaces. Space is limited.
