Mohave College Corporate Education and the City of Kingman have successfully concluded the Culture, Calibration, and Teamwork Excellence training program, a customized 40-hour leadership development initiative designed for employees from the City’s emergency dispatch center.
The program, which began Sept. 8, 2025, focused on strengthening workplace culture, developing shared performance standards, enhancing quality assurance practices, and improving teamwork. Participants engaged in interactive classroom sessions and hands-on learning activities aligned with the City’s organizational goals and service expectations.
As part of the program’s conclusion, each participant delivered a PowerPoint presentation highlighting key takeaways and lessons learned throughout the several-month training. Peers from the Kingman Fire Station, along with representatives from the City of Kingman, were in attendance to show their support and recognize the participants’ commitment to professional growth.
The training was led by instructor Ruth Hellams, who guided participants through exercises centered on communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Participants included Amy Kennedy, Kaillie Del Monaco, Gary DuPoint III, Christina Baca, Ashley King, and Sheena Seegraves, each completing the full 40-hour program.

All sessions were held at Mohave College’s Beale Street Center in Kingman. Mohave College and the City of Kingman partnered closely throughout the 14-week schedule to ensure the training supported professional growth and effective service to the community.
