The Mohave College Community Education Division Art Club will host its upcoming Art Show and Sale at the College’s Beale Street Center, 309 E. Beale St., from 5–8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 6.
Seventeen students from four Community Education classes- Ceramics, Metalsmithing, Glass, and Lapidary- will exhibit more than 100 items for show and sale. Prices will range from $1 to $25, giving community members an opportunity to purchase original, locally made artwork. All pieces were created in one of Community Education’s classes (Ceramics, Metalsmithing, Glass Fusion, Wire Wrapping, Lapidary and Enameling
Proceeds from the sale will support the Art Club, helping fund additional supplies for Community Education classes that are not covered through the class budget.
The event follows the success of previous art shows and sales, continuing the mission to showcase the creativity and talent of local students.

The College’s General Education and Transfer Division also offers Art and Visual Arts courses in which students can earn college credits. Students enrolled in those programs have the opportunity to earn an associate degree and transfer their credits to a Mohave College university partner to complete a bachelor’s degree.
