
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is proud to announce its 54th Commencement Ceremony, a milestone event that will celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2025. This year’s ceremony will take place at 3 PM, Friday, May 16 at the Anderson Fieldhouse, 3663 Bullhead Pkwy. It’ll bringing together graduates, faculty, families, and community members for a memorable day of recognition and reflection.
The ceremony will honor 807 students with the conferral of 402 associate degrees, 720 certificates, totaling 1,122 degrees and certificates, marking a significant achievement for students who have demonstrated exceptional resilience, dedication and academic excellence.
Among the graduates, 131 are Early College students, an outstanding group who completed college-level coursework through dual or concurrent enrollment are earning a total of 224 associate degrees or certificates before receiving their high school diplomas.
The Commencement will feature a keynote address by this year’s distinguished student speaker, Natalie Martinez, a business administration graduate is a proud wife, mother of three, and first-generation student. Her inspiring journey and message will reflect the spirit of perseverance that defines the graduating class.
Cat Therrien, student life coordinator, has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Ellen Licari Service to Students Award. She will be a guest of honor at the ceremony, and will be later presented with her award in the fall.
