MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College’s Community Education Division is relaunching College for Kids at the Kingman Campus, refreshed and refocused to help young learners build academic confidence, creativity and a strong college-going mindset.

Designed for students ages 8–12, this year’s College for Kids camps blend hands-on exploration with foundational skills in STEM, writing, science, entrepreneurship, critical thinking, and creative expression. Camps create a fun, nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and collaboration.

Campers in Kingman will enjoy a wide variety of engaging opportunities:

  • STEM & Discovery Camps: Dive into LEGO Robotics, Rocket Science, Marine Science, and Forensic Investigations where science and imagination come together through exciting experiments and challenges.
  • Creative Arts & Storytelling: Inspire your child’s voice and vision through Creative Writing, Comic Book Design and Art Adventure camps.
  • Leadership & Life Skills: Young innovators will build real-world skills in Entrepreneur/Shark Tank and Safe & Smart Sitter Camps, designed to strengthen communication, responsibility and business understanding.

Whether your child dreams of launching rockets, writing stories or starting a business, each camp is designed to spark interest, deepen learning and build confidence for the future.

Register now at MCCforKids.com. Spots fill quickly and camps are only available in June. For questions, contact Lori Gunnette at lgunnette@mohave.edu or call (928) 757-0844.
