MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College, (Mohave College beginning August 2025), Corporate Education department is proud to launch the Leadership Excellence Academy 1.0, a customized leadership development program designed specifically for the City of Kingman. Through this strategic partnership, the College will deliver a comprehensive 12-week training series to equip city employees with the tools, skills and mindset needed to lead effectively and serve the community at the highest level.

The program officially started Tuesday, and represents the College’s ongoing commitment to supporting local governments and organizations through tailored workforce education. Up to 25 City of Kingman employees—current and emerging supervisors—will participate in the inaugural cohort, which runs through July 22. Two cohorts will participate through this leadership training with the other starting in late July.

“This is exactly the kind of high-impact, real-world training the College was built to provide,” said Gina Kremper, Associate Dean of Corporate Education. “By partnering with the City of Kingman, we’re helping to build strong internal leadership that directly benefits the entire community.”

Over the course of 12 weeks, college facilitators will deliver engaging, interactive workshops covering topics such as conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, team building, time management and workplace diversity. Sessions will blend classroom learning with hands-on, job-related applications to ensure participants can immediately apply what they learn.

This partnership exemplifies the college’s mission to provide education that meets the needs of communities and businesses across Mohave County.
