MOHAVE COUNTY – The summer semester is underway at Mohave Community College. Students are taking advantage of catching up on classes over the summer and getting closer to earning their degrees or certificates. Classes started Monday, May 28 across all four MCC campuses.
Students who need help navigating college can meet with a Student Success Coach. Success Coaches are here to assist students with study and life skills. They even host workshops on how to succeed in class, getting through exams like mid-terms and much more.
Tutors are also available to help if students are having trouble in class. Tutors can be found at the Student Success Center in the campus library. To learn more about the Student Success Coaches and Tutoring, visit Mohave.edu/Student-Success-Center.
The College has many degree and certificate options to help students meet their education and career goals. People are able to browse the Academic, Healthcare, and Career & Technical Education programs online at www.Mohave.edu/Degrees.
MCC graduates create a positive impact on the business community, and generate a return on investment for students and taxpayers in the county and state. MCC alumni generate $122.3 million in added annual income in the region.
MCC also offers many Corporate and Community Education non-credit classes. The courses range from teaching fun skills for hobbyists to professional skills needed in the local workforce. These classes are not graded and are offered on the Kingman, Bullhead City and Lake Havasu City campuses. To see a list of those classes, visit ce.mohave.edu.
