MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is encouraging students to register now for summer classes, which begin May 24.

“Summer semesters are always great,” said James Jarman, MCC Communications Director. “It’s a perfect time for new college students to try out a class, or current students to take a class that might be more challenging for them, such as math or the sciences.  University students who haven’t finished all of their Arizona general education requirements can save tuition money by taking the classes at MCC and then transferring the credits back to their university.”

The college has a team of advisors who specialize in helping students navigate the university credit transfer process.

The summer semester schedule offers students classes in a wide variety of academic fields of study, as well as techniques for college success. Classes are offered on each of MCC’s four campuses, in addition to Zoom classrooms and the traditional online option.

“High school seniors in Mohave County will also find summer is a perfect time to take a class or two at MCC because it can help them with the transition to college,” Jarman said.

Everyone is interested in attending MCC summer classes should start the college and federal financial aid application right away.

For more information, including a list of summer classes, visit www.Mohave.edu/Sign-Up or call (866) MOHAVECC or (866) 664-2832.
