Mohave Community College – Lake Havasu campus is hosting weeks of highlighting campus resources, programs and more. Each week will consist of a different program hosting an open house, information session, lab, courses and hands-on demonstrations.
The festivities will start the week of September 13 with Library and Student Success Center Week where people can learn about what resources are available and partake in different activities. Refreshments will be provided.
LIBRARY/STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER WEEK
Stop by building 1200 to engage with Library and Student Success Center staff. Learn more about their resources and listen to one of their lectures.

Stop by building 1000 to see what it takes to be a surgical technologist and meet Syndaver Olga, a synthetic cadaver. Discover more about MCC’s Surgical Technology program by observing a class.

PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT WEEK
Visit the Physical Therapy Assistant program in building 200 to learn more. Attend one of the many activities held during the week like a tour of the facilities or sit during a lab class.

Come learn about our Substance Abuse Counseling program where instructors will talk about the various stages of counseling.

FIRE SCIENCE AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WEEK
Learn about the Fire Science Academy at MCC and have a hands on experience when it comes to “stop the bleed” and CPR compressions. A fire engine with crew will be on campus and EMT will have an open house.
