The start of the fall semester kicks off with Welcome Back Bash week at MCC. The campus is hosting a series of Welcome Back Bash events from August 26 – September 3.
Students will have the chance to meet many of the Kingman staff, faculty and other students. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about their campus resources and different student organizations.
Welcome Back Bash Week will kick off with MCC Spirit Day. Students who wear MCC gear or colors can get a free hot dog from the cafe in building 200, or a slice of pizza in building 300. Details are included below.

Thursday, August 26 MCC Spirit Day, 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Students who wear MCC gear or colors can get a FREE hot dog from BT’s Forge & Grill from 11am-4pm or a slice of Pizza from Student Services Building 300 from 5-7pm
Monday, August 30 Club Rush & Campus Resource Fair, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Meet and greet with campus clubs, campus resource offices, and community resources. Go around to all the tables and increase your odds for winning incredible door prizes!
Tuesday, August 31 Bighorn Battles, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Bring a friend or two and to the library and enjoy some competitive games. Free snacks will be available.
Wed., September 1 Triple D: Donuts, Danishes, & Deans, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Enjoy some early morning treats and meet a few of our deans. Meet us in/outside 500.
Wed., September 1 Yard Games & Karaoke Party, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Join students and staff at the big blue pavilion outside 200 building and play some fun games. If you’re brave enough, sing some karaoke! Ice cream sundaes will be available.
Wed., September 1 E-Sports Tryouts Info Session, 4:00 p.m.
Esports is here! We’re looking for fulltime MCC students who want to play Valorant and Rocket League at the collegiate esports level. Come to NCK bldg 240 and learn more about being a part of MCC’s first competitive video game teams. Location and additional dates can be found at www.mohave.edu/esports.
Thurs., September 2 SAC Meeting, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Check out the first Student Activities Council meeting of the year. SAC meetings are held every 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month in 233. Students in attendance get free lunch tickets to BT’s Forge & Grill.
