MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College Phi Theta Kappa – Alpha Chi Psi chapter on the Bullhead City campus inducted 27 new members Friday for Fall 2020. The ceremony is usually held on campus but due to the pandemic it was held virtually.    

New PTK inductees include: Katie Bertolucci, Samantha Burkes, Jesika Campbell, Darla Drury, Christina Eaton, Christina Fever, Sarah Fisher, Tabitha Gray, Andrew Gutierrez, John Hinton, Madison Houltram, Trevor Irvin, McKena Jenkins, Misty Knight, Michelle Lewis, Jaime Leyva, Mandy McCabe, Marian Mendez, Andrea Ochoa, Juanita Palmer, Steven Petroff, Jacqueline Pittman, Zachary Rodriguez, Steven Schilling, Scott Stiever, Kimberly Stoddard, Natalie Walters.  

“I would like to sincerely congratulate all the new inductees. Their efforts to enrich the community through academia is certainly noticed. We look forward to working with these new members to promote scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service through MCC and the community we serve,” said Charles McCune, PTK-Alpha Chi Psi chapter public relations office.  

The ceremony opened with a few words from Dean Carolyn Hamblin congratulating students on their new endeavor. Chapter Advisors are Stacey Gilbert and Eric Osborn.   

Officers include Ashley Thimm (President), Christopher Hadley (Vice President of Membership), Misty Knight (Vice President of Leadership), Trevor Irvin (Vice President of Fellowship), Mia Sweeney (Vice President of Scholarship), Andrew Gutierrez (Vice President of Service), Charles McCune (Public Relations Officer) and Ana Lepez Gomez (Secretary).   

Phi Theta Kappa’s mission is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students by providing opportunity for the development of development, leadership and service.
