Lorenia Wolcott is the first annual MCC ARTiculated Expressions Student Art Show winner of the People’s Choice Award.
Her artistic and anatomic drawing of a pelvic bone for Anotomy and Physiology 1 earned the most votes to push her over the top in a competitive field.
ARTiculated Expressions was curated by the MCC-Bullhead City Campus Arts & Humanities Faculty. All the submitted artwork was on display for a week in the Bullhead City campus library, leading up to the announcement of the winner announced on Friday, December 7.
MCC Instructor Jake Crawford announced Wolcott the winner, and also encouraged local artists, aspiring artists and those who just enjoy art to contact him about starting the Bullhead City Art Club, based out of the MCC campus.
