From the Mohave Valley Daily News – Mohave Community College students continue to stay on track when it comes to paying down their student loans.

At a recent Board of Governors meeting, MCC President Dr. Michael Kearns said the school’s student loan default rate is 17.4 percent for the 2014 cohort.

That rate represents a steep decline from five years earlier, when a rate of 36.7 percent had the college potentially facing the loss of its ability to award financial aid.
