We at MCC are happy to present our new student-content program, the MCC Artist of the Month! The Artist of the Month program is a great way for us to celebrate the tremendous talent that our students show, by sharing it with the local communities. We hope you’ll enjoy learning a little about our students, and viewing some of their work!

Our first artist is Carly Sitton, Carly is a Visual Communications major who will graduate in early 2018. Her work is mostly photography, and she does a wonderful job! Photography holds a great deal of meaning for Carly, and her images show it.

Thank you, Carly, for allowing us to share your work. We hope the community will enjoy it as much as we have!

“To me, a photograph is a memory, frozen in place, that we can look back to. To capture someone’s story is to capture their moment in time of where they were, what they were doing, and whom they were with. Capturing these precious moments makes me feel a part of something.”- Carly Sitton
