Do you ever feel there isn’t enough time to hit the gym due to a chaotic schedule?
Well, students and staff are now in luck!
The Bullhead City campus now has a brand new fitness center with new equipment and flooring. The space is twice the size of the old fitness center, with extended hours and temporary group classes available (Yoga, Cardio Pump, Muscle Toning, Thai Chi, Dancing, etc.)
If you’re not a fan of dripping bodily fluids everywhere, this center has other fitness alternatives compared standard gyms. There is a brand new ping-pong table to increase your agility, flexibility, and reaction time compared to an excessive heart rate.
Once you’ve finished a workout or game, brain food is available from the vending machines in the next room for convenience. Students and staff can bring workout clothes for in-between classes to get a boost for the day, or work off the stress of being a busy person. This can save driving time, so you don’t have to leave campus to go the gym and back. That helps keep you from being late to class, or even from missing a class.
If you thought this was already an amazing workout facility then get this! The fitness center provides tunes for anyone who forgets to bring an audio device for their workout. The last thing to enjoy about the fitness center is the mirrors for selfies and group photo fun. Snap a photo and hashtag #BighornPride and share your experience at the fitness center. The more active the fitness center, the more motivation for students. Being a student, we have free access to the Bullhead City Campus gym! Once accepted and enrolled at MCC, the fitness center membership is paid for in full by student council and the college itself. This facility is not about trying to prove oneself, but rather compete with oneself to witness results.
