Library Collections

General Collection - The Mohave Community College Library Collection contains more than 75,000 items. The collection includes books, videotapes, audio cassettes, maps, art prints, best selling novels and audio books.
Reference Collection - The reference collection contains condensed and compiled information in encyclopedias, almanacs, dictionaries, handbooks, directories, atlases, indexes, bibliographies, and other research materials.
Career Collection - The career collection contains information about career opportunities and the education needed to prepare for various jobs.
Periodical Collection - Periodicals is a broader name for magazines, specialized journals, and local and national newspapers. MCC has more than 400 magazine and journal subscriptions. Subscriptions carried by the MCC Library are listed in the Union List of Periodicals, available at each campus.
Electronic Databases - In addition to the materials listed above, the Library subscribes to a number of Careers-Internet Database, including Academic Search Elite, Britannica Online, and Encyclopedia of Careers.
