 Mission

The mission of Mohave Community College’s Curriculum Committee is to review and recommend curriculum that supports the mission, purposes, and values of the college.

The mission of Mohave Community College is to serve our students and communities by providing an environment for educational excellence, innovation and awareness.

Goal

The goal of the Curriculum Committee is to ensure the quality, coherence, and coordination of college wide curriculum.

Curriculum is defined as a “plan or program for all of the experiences which the learner encounters under the direction of the school [organization or institution].” In practice, the curriculum consists of a number of plans, in written form and of varying scope, which delineate the desired learning experiences. The curriculum, therefore, may be a unit, a course, a sequence of courses, or the school’s entire program of studies.
