Welcome to the MCC Dental Programs of Study! The Dental Program at MCC includes two types of programs.

One is the Certificate in Dental Assisting (Download Brochure for Dental Assisting) and and the other is a Dental Hygienist Associate of Applied Science Degree.

(Download Brochure for Dental Hygiene) In addition to classroom instruction and practical lab work, students in advanced stages of their training have the opportunity to work directly with patients. As a result, they enter the workforce fully prepared to serve in a public or private dental office. Employment opportunities in both fields are readily available.

The programs are independent of each other and dental assisting courses cannot be applied to the dental hygiene degree; however, dental assisting graduates are given additional consideration in their applications to the dental hygiene program.
