 The winners were, front row from left: Tony Scott, winner of the President's Choice Award for best of show specialty vehicle; TNC Machine won the Vice Chancellors' Award for best of show race car, accepted by Chad Baker, who is also a former MCC welder; and Bob and Kathy Heron won the Chancellor's Choice Award for best of show among show cars. More than 60 vehicles took part in the auto show. The combined welding event and car show drew up to a thousand spectators to the MCC campus.Winners named at MCC car show

More than 300 job seekers took part Tuesday in the 2008 Career Expo on Mohave Community College's Henry Campus-Bullhead City. The event was designed to bring job seekers together with Mohave County businesses looking to hire. A long line formed outside the 600 Building before the event started, and a steady stream of job seekers attended the event, the first of three to be held on MCC's campuses. Neal Campus-Kingman held its Expo on Wednesday and the Lake Havasu City campus will hold its Expo on Nov. 6.
