Your instructor is the first and best person to speak with if you are having a difficult time learning or understanding the material presented in your coursework.
However MCC can offer you additional assistance to help you be successful. MCC encourages you to take advantage of Supplemental Instruction (SI) and it is free of charge.
MCC offers you additional instruction and support in the areas of reading, grammar, punctuation, writing, and mathematics which are essential to be successful in any course. Supplemental Instruction gives you opportunities to ask questions about your class content and homework. These sessions will be offered at each campus. Unlike other colleges, MCC Supplemental Instruction sessions are staffed by our own resident faculty who are knowledgeable, skilled in instruction, and they understand the requirements MCC courses.
There is additional help in other MCC academic areas as well. Please refer to the many posters about supplemental instruction located throughout your campus for times.
Search the Internet for the words, “supplemental instruction”, or “tutoring” to find online opportunities for help.
