Collection Description

General Collection - This encompasses each campus library and contains over 75,000 items. The collection includes books, videotapes, DVDs, audio cassettes, best selling novels (Baker & Taylor Lease Program) and audio/talking books.
Reference Collection - The reference collection contains non-circulating items such as condensed and compiled information in encyclopedias, almanacs, dictionaries, handbooks, directories, atlases, bibliographies and other research materials.
Career Collection - The career collection contains information about career opportunities and the education needed to prepare for various jobs. The collection also includes test preparation books for nursing and other subject areas.
Periodicals Collection - Each library includes a small collection of magazines, specialized/scholarly journals, local and national newspapers. Electronic subscriptions to several hundred journals and magazines are accessible through the electronic database page.
Electronic Resources- The library offers eBooks, instantly available to read online. In addition, over 30 databases are available, which provide abstracts and full text articles for research assignments. There are multi-disciplinary databases such as Academic Search Premier and MasterFILE Premier which are utilized mostly for core classes.
