It only takes five easy steps to become an MCC student, take the first step today!
#1 Advising - Career and academic guidance is available to all students at MCC. Even if you “don’t know what you want to be when you grow up,” you will find answers on how to pursue an education that will lead to a richer, more rewarding life.
#
#2 Assessment - A simple assessment screening is available at MCC to determine the level at which students will be successful when they begin their studies. Some will need refresher courses in basic education and some will need to take the GED before they can begin their studies toward a new, more rewarding career. Others will go right in to college-level courses. The Compass assessment will help students and their MCC academic advisor know where to start.

#3 Select Classes - Once you have decided on the certificate or degree you want to pursue, explore your Program of Study and the courses required to complete it. Then check out the online Course Schedule and select the classes you will take each semester. Register as early as possible to assure your place in the class and check back for any last-minute changes or additions to the course offerings.
#4 Admissions Forms - Everyone, age 16 and up, can be admitted to classes at MCC if they meet the admission requirements. New students, and those who have attended before but not been enrolled for two years or more must complete the admissions process.
#5 Register and Pay - When you have selected your classes and are ready to register and pay, there are several options depending on your status. First-time students and all students receiving financial aid must go to the MCC campus to register in person. Returning students who are not receiving financial aid have the option of using the telephone registration or online registration processes.
