With the Culinary Arts Certificate, Advanced Certificate or Associates of Applied Science from MCC, graduates can expect their career track to ultimately go all the way to executive chef.
Their passion and motivation will determine how far they go in the field. They can move from prep cook to station cook to sous chef to chef de cuisine to executive chef. As the tourism and hospitality industries grow, opportunities in culinary arts grow. Jobs are available all over the world and local restaurants and resorts are eager to place our graduates. Students who complete the certificate program can start at a higher salary and have the opportunity to move up faster in the culinary industry than those who choose on-the-job training. There is great camaraderie in the kitchen, in the industry and within the organizations for chefs. If you are looking for a career and not just a job, look no further.
