In 2010, two new facilities for nursing instruction opened at MCC.
The Detroit Avenue Center in Kingman is at 1801 Detroit Ave., off Stockton Hill Road, just south of Interstate 40. It is home to Neal Campus - Kingman RN students and is the home of MCC’s PN program and the SimMan laboratories where electronic simulator patients are available to all MCC nursing students.
The “DAC,” as it is commonly known, was built by the MCC Foundation on land donated to MCC by Dr. John Lingenfelter and his late wife Diana.
The Mesquite Avenue Center in Lake Havasu City is at 1795 Civic Center Blvd., between Mesquite and McCulloch boulevards. It provides classrooms, faculty offices and a nursing laboratory for students from the Lake Havasu City campus.
Use of the “MAC” was made possible by a generous partnership with Havasu Regional Medical Center, after renovation of office space into a modern nursing education facility.
