LSC062 Computer Survival Skills- An introduction to the use and function of computers. The course will focus on the use of printers, saving and retrieving data, using programs and computer skills for the technologically impaired. 8 hours.

LSC068 Creating Great Looking Documents- Use Microsoft Word to create, save and print any form of document: letter, flyer or brochure. The course will also cover filing, retrieving and organizing using folders. 8 hours.

LSC069 Keeping Track of Numbers- Use Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets for accounting, formulas and record keeping for any purpose. The course will also cover filing, retrieving and organizing using folders. 8 hours.- This course will provide an overall view of how to use the internet safely. How to use browsers to locate information, how to save locations, print web pages, email, handle Spam, Scams and Junk email. 8 hours.

LSC071 The Internet and its Many Uses- This course will provide an overall view of how to use the internet safely. How to use browsers to locate information, how to save locations, print web pages, email, handle Spam, Scams and Junk email. 8 hours.

LSC100 How to Create Digital Photos- How to use cameras, photo editing software and create files and folders to organize your work. The course will also focus on how to retrieve, delete and save photos from your camera. 4 hours.

LSC101I Your Family Genealogy- An introduction to using computer software and the internet to research and catalog family lineage or history. The research will last generations. 12 hours.

LSC101 How to Buy and Sell on the Internet- How to use eBay and other sites to safely purchase or sell items. The course will also include the art of bidding and pricing. 8 hours.

LSL060A Uno, Dos, Tres: Spanish Made Easy- In a fun non-threatening presentation, this class will include vocabulary for various activities for everyday life as well as for traveling in the Hispanic world. Activities will include interactive lectures, lots of class participation, songs, role-playing, games, video vignettes, and music. 12 hours.

LSO056 Poker- Join the fun. Learn the practical and theoretical approach to America’s most popular card game. Students will review the fundamentals of play and be able to practice. Instruction will include limit, no limit, as well as tournament strategy. 8 hours.

LSO057 Pit Games- Learn to play casino pit games the fun way! Use chip points in a live-action simulated environment, you will learn basic strategy and money management in Blackjack, Roulette and Craps. 8 hours.

LSQ045 Dog Training- An introduction to basic commands that every dog should know. You and your dog will learn together to manage behavior with successful techniques and problem solving. Class offers the opportunity to socialize with people as well as other canines. Class is taught by positive based reinforcement. 12 hours.

LSS062A Motorcycle- If you can ride a bicycle we can train you to ride a motorcycle. Start out in the classroom and learn where all the controls are and how they operate. Move from there to the motorcycle to learn to stop, start, turn, corner, swerve, etc. Motorcycles, helmets and gloves are provided in the Basic Rider course. A skills test will be taken at the end of the course. A certificate will be presented if the student demonstrates acceptable riding skill, which can be presented to DMV office to endorse their license. 15 hours. Fees: Vendor

Students will provide their own motorcycles and must have a learner’s permit or license. A review of braking, cornering, and swerving techniques will be addresses. A skills test will be taken at the end of the course. A certificate will be presented if the student demonstrates acceptable riding skill, which can be taken to MVD to endorse the rider’s license. 6 hours. Fees: Vendor

LSS062C Motorcycle- This course is for riders that wish to brush up on their skills. The course reviews and practices all riding skills. An MSF completion card will be issued at the end of the course. The MSF card is good for insurance discounts. 4 hours. Fees: Vendor
