Auto collision repair technology introduces you to industry standards for safety regulations and techniques, and auto collision shop operations.
The two-year program will lead to an Associate of Applied Sciences degree and will help you prepare to take the tests for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Repair (IICAR) certification.
The ASE and IICAR certification signifies that the student has completed training as accepted by the top two automotive-repair certification organizations in the United States. This is important because the certification is an endorsement of the independent repair person’s knowledge and certification is often required to work for the repair division at a major auto dealership.
