Getting Started at MCC

Follow the seven steps below for a seamless process to enroll at MCC!

Step 1: Apply

All applicants who wish to enroll at Mohave Community College must complete the free admissions application.

Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships

  • Federal Financial Aid: To help make college more affordable, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Graduation from an accredited high school or completion of GED is required for federal financial aid.
  • Scholarships: Scholarships are available for new students at MCC. Simply check the box on the admissions application indicating your interest in applying for scholarships. MCC will review your application and determine whether or not you are eligible.

Note: For Summer 2014, $500 MCC Bighorn Grants are available. Once your FAFSA is submitted and received by MCC, you will be notified to create and log in to your new NetPartner account (MCC's online financial aid system). Login to NetPartner, click the "Apply Online" tab and complete the application(s) that appear. Bighorn Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis to students who have a valid FAFSA on file at MCC.

Step 3: Check Your Financial Aid Status Frequently in NetPartner, MCC's Online Financial Aid System

  • NetPartner is your key to success in managing your financial aid account at MCC, understanding which documents are required for processing, and reviewing the status of your financial aid awards. MCC recommends that you check NetPartner at least weekly for updates. In addition, we will send emails asking you to check NetPartner when action is required on your part.
