Offers scholarships for disabled US Veterans.  Applicants are asked to write a 500+ word essay discussing the unique challenges they have faced as a disabled veteran and how it prepared them to overcome the challenges they will see as students.

Dougherty Foundation

Dougherty Foundation Scholarship

To qualify for the Dougherty Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Applicants must be enrolled at one of these educational institutions: Arizona State University, Grand Canyon University, Northern Arizona University, the University of Arizona, Prescott College, Coconino Community College, Mohave Community College, Thunderbird College, or any of the Maricopa Community Colleges District campuses.
2. Minimum enrollment: 6 hours at community college, 12 hours at 4-year university.
3. GPA of 3.0
4. U.S. Citizen
5. Arizona Resident
6. Financial Need as demonstrated by the submission of the Student Aid Report from the FAFSA
7. Awards are renewable if a 3.0 GPA is maintained and is enrolled for at least 6 hours in the CC and 12 in the University.
8. Community College awards are renewable for up to 2 years.

7/1/15 and 12/1/15 The Raab Collection Stewards of History Scholarship The Raab Collection Stewards of History Scholarship - The Raab Collection is offering a $2,000 annual scholarship for juniors and seniors who are majoring in history, and have a passion for historical documents, and historical preservation in the 21st century.
