Program - Department Reviews

MCC’s academic programs at Mohave Community College provide opportunities for students to develop the knowledge, skills and values that they should display when they complete a program of study. Program goals and outcomes help program faculty and administrators focus on delivery of the programs and to connect to the broader institutional aims and constituencies we serve.

The purpose of program review is to:

  • Improve instructional programs through data driven peer review and self-evaluation
  • Encourage systematic collection and review of student learning assessments and effectiveness measures
  • Ensure that each program supports the college mission and aligns with the strategic directions of the college
