Life Science

Life Science is the study of living organisms - their characteristics, classification, behavior, heredity, origin and metabolism of organisms.

The Associate of Science – Life Science Degree is designed to prepare students for studying the biological sciences at most universities. They include biology, botany, zoology, microbiology and wildlife biology, etc. Click here and we’ll send you more information about the program.

This emphasis will provide coursework found in the first two years of most baccalaureate programs. Students should select general electives specific to the program and institution to which they plan to transfer. The program also provides theoretical knowledge and laboratory skills required for entry-level jobs that require two years of college-level science and math.

Many of these options are best pursued by continuing your education in a graduate degree program.
