Automotive Service Technology

MCC offers a two-year, Associate of General Studies degree in Automotive Service Technology to prepare technicians for high-paying, high-demand careers.

State-of-the-Art facilities: During the comprehensive program, you train in state-of-the-art facilities on the Bullhead City campus of Mohave Community College, which serves students throughout Mohave County Arizona. We also welcome students from New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and Southern California, who can take advantage of the lower tuition rate assured by the Western Undergraduate Exchange agreement among western states.

You will utilize up-to-date, sophisticated equipment to be ready to work on the vehicles of the future. At the end of your training, you will be prepared to test for ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification in eight specific areas. You will learn shop operations, time management, automobile electrical systems, engine repair, transmission repair, ignition systems, drivability, fuel systems, air conditioning systems, suspension and braking system repair. Program is affordable: Fees for the program are competitive and MCC’s low tuition rate makes the cost of a college degree in automotive service technology affordable; plus, financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Auto Service Graduates are prepared to work with today’s highly sophisticated automotive technology to help keep car owners safe on the road and help insure their investment in transportation.
