MCC is a comprehensive, rural community college dedicated to enhancing careers, lives and futures.

Our mission is to be a learning-centered college, serving all constituencies, in­spiring excellence through innovative learning methodologies and empowering students to succeed.

MCC serves the northwest corner of the State of Arizona (Mohave County) and its neighboring communities in California, Nevada and Utah. Mohave County's location provides visitors and residents with an assortment of activities to suit many interests. Our warm, dry southwestern climate is perfect for year-round outdoor recreation. With 1,000 miles of freshwater shoreline, boating, fishing, skiing and swimming are readily available.

Numerous nearby national and state parks and forests provide ample opportunities for hiking and camping in either the mountains or the desert. Winter sports are available a couple of hours away at the Arizona Snow Bowl in Flagstaff, at Mt. Charleston in the Toiyabe National Forest just north of Las Vegas or at Brian Head Ski Resort in southern Utah.

Glitz, glitter and sophisticated entertainment can be found nearby in Vegas or Laughlin, and some communities offer theatre performances year ’round.

Annual events include vintage automobile shows, bluegrass festivals, International Jet Ski competitions, art and food festivals, top marquee entertainers, rodeos, chili cook-offs, and the county fair. Area attractions include the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, the London Bridge, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, two man-made lakes, numerous ghost towns and caverns.
